Terms of use
Last updated: [To complete: effective date]
By using Foxlio you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
The service
Foxlio is a web app for building CVs and cover letters, tracking job applications, and browsing job listings and recruitment agencies. It is provided by [To complete: legal name of the operator]. It is free to use and has no user accounts. Features may change or be removed at any time.
Your data and backups
Your data is stored in your browser on your device, not on Foxlio servers. You are responsible for keeping backups. Data can be lost if browser storage is cleared or evicted, and Foxlio cannot restore it. See the Privacy policy for details.
AI features and your API keys
- AI drafting uses an API key that you obtain from a third-party provider (OpenRouter, Google Gemini, or Anthropic Claude). Your use of that provider is governed by your agreement with them, and any usage charges are billed to your provider account.
- You are responsible for keeping your key secure and for setting spending limits with your provider.
- AI output can be inaccurate, generic, or invent details. You must review and edit every draft. Do not submit claims about yourself that are untrue.
Third-party services
Job listings come from Remotive, and the agency directory is curated information that may be out of date. Foxlio does not verify, endorse, or guarantee any listing, employer, or agency, and is not party to any application or hiring decision. Links to external sites are subject to those sites' terms.
Acceptable use
Don't use Foxlio to break the law, infringe others' rights, attack or overload the service or its job listing source, or misuse AI providers in breach of their policies.
Your content
You keep all rights to the content you create. Because it stays in your browser, Foxlio does not receive a copy except as needed to serve the app. Make sure you have the right to use any content you add, such as photos.
No warranty
Foxlio is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee it will be error-free, always available, or that it will help you get a job.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, lost opportunities, or charges from third-party providers arising from your use of Foxlio. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under laws that cannot be excluded. [To complete: review with qualified advice for your jurisdiction]
